COMING SOON!

Crescent City Cafe is a nonprofit in New Orleans where dignity and hospitality come first. Since 2009, the Cafe has welcomed thousands of neighbors to share meals side by side, regardless of ability to pay. The Crescent City ABOUT PAY WHAT YOU CAN Cafe will expand to daily service at their pay-what-you-can restaurant, ensuring everyone in New Orleans has a seat at the table.

OUR
LOCATION

The Crescent City Cafe is joining other pay-what-you-can
community cafes around the country in adding donation based
dining to the restaurant scene. These include Jon Bon Jovi Soul
Kitchen in New Jersey, F.A.R.M. Cafe (Feed All Regardless of Means)
in Boone, North Carolina, and S.A.M.E. (So All May Eat) in Denver.
This model has grown in popularity and success in cities across the
country.

OUR
HISTORY

In 2015, the Crescent City Cafe learned about pay-what-you-can
community cafes, that would move our mission from a pop-up into a
brick and mortar. At that time the Crescent City Cafe formed an LLC
and became a non-profit organization with the intent to expand and
create a place for people to better understand the needs that exist
in our neighborhoods, serve our fellow citizens, and make a
difference through acts of kindness, compassion, and solidarity with
everyone we call our neighbor. Adelle Bergman, Executive Director,
has lead the charge, with her love of serving pancakes, bringing
people together, and feeding a sense of belonging and community.

How you can help

The Cafe is inviting individuals, businesses, and civic groups to
participate by making a pay-it-forward donation, or by sponsoring a
day of meals and hospitality.

Supporters can also give online, host peer-to-peer fundraisers, or
volunteer their time. Every contribution helps bring the Cafe closer
to its goal of opening daily.
